The epic date with Aditya Roy Kapoor at the YJHD premiere

Finally here I start to pen down my experience of attending the premiere of the most awaited bollywood film of the year Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Ever since I got to know the release date I started using my sources to get the pass, as always nothing really worked. I was so worked up as someone just one day before told me it is in film city, and it wasn’t there and  by then 30th May already arrived. Luckily a media friend told me that the premiere of YJHD was happening at Andheri PVR which was Fame Adlabs and with the premiere of YJHD the theatre was supposed to go live. So at 1 pm I went to PVR Andheri to confirm the time and if it was the venue. The guy at the ticket window said yes. I called up my sources than to arrange for 2 passes as I had promised my best friend Shruti that I would take her as well.

At 6 pm I called my friend Krunal and told him there is no pass and that if he could help me with it. At 8 pm he called me and said your work is done and he managed to get 2 tickets of audi 5 in which the starts would be sitting. He was apparently at the venue already and managed to get tickets from some bodyguards and known acquaintance out there.
So I and my friend Shruti had exactly and hour to reach. We were in our casual best with oily hair pathetic skin and bad clothes. We ran home but due to time constraints couldn’t manage much. Finally we left our house and yaay we reached there sharp on time but our badluck there was no parking and it took almost 20 minutes and in that mishap Ranbir Kapoor came and left the venue and we missed.

Finally we made it inside. Krunal was also there. While we went Deepika was also leaving. So with Ranbir and deepika no pic was possible. Post then, I saw Ayan Mukerji and I was like gosh this guy is so cute. I just said Hey Ayan, and Ayan was like “ Oh my God Harshita you made it to the premiere so good to see you man “ he then hugged me and further added, “ please watch the whole film and give me a feedback would be waiting .” I said ok and blushed and said Ayan I need to take a pic with you he said “yaa offcourse sure”. We clicked.

Post then my friend Shruti saw Kalki and asked her for a pic I clicked it. Then krunal told me he wanted a pic with Hakim Aalim the Ranbir Kapoor’s Hairstylist, so I clicked his pic and the Aalim was like “So Harshita whats happening?” and I said oh gosh u know me he said “oh yes who doesn’t” I got that star waali feeling so even I clicked a pic then.

Then suddenly, all the girls ran in one direction and yes the new heart throb arrived none other than the Ashiq Aditya Roy Kapoor. Girls, boys and kids ran behind him for pics and autographs. But, Aditya said not now later and went away. Meanwhile I was just gallivanting here and there and I spotted Kunal Roy Kapoor. Lukily, very few people recognized him and I tried my luck and said dude I loved u in Nautanki saala wish Ayushmann was here too.. he gave me a side hug and said thank u so so so much.

Meanwhile, everyone was waiting outside the room Aditya went in and he kept refusing actually not directly but kept saying later later later and fans were getting frustrated. The screening started finally. I was sittimg in the 3 rd row me, krunal and shruti. I loved the 1st half the moment interval happened I told Krunal lets go out Aditya would be there, he said yes. Meanwhile, shruti went to the loo.
This time I decided I am not asking any1 for a pic so these few gals who were standing for Aditya asked him for a pic and again he said LATER post interval. I was like Arrghhh thank God I dint say anything and made a fool of myself.

Post interval, we went inside and omfg some unethical people took our seat. The hall was full  and film had begun and I was so irritated by then. Krunal saw 2 empty seats on the extreme top. I said lets go if Shruti comes we will see what to do. We went and sat, and oops it was Kunal Roy Kapoor on the nxt seat. He tapped my back and said excuse me some 1 is sitting here, I said oh I am so sorry and was about to get up, so he said chil chill that person will take time until then u sit its all ok sorry for the inconvenience. I said that’s fine and then we both looked at each other and smiled. I was like removing some weird connections in my head ki woow this guy did Nautanki Saala and now he is with me I love Ayushmann and some shit was going on my mind.

Suddenly after 30 mins a tall broad guy comes. He was climbing the steps as he came near my heart beats went fast and OMFG it was Aditya Roy Kapoor so he saw me and was like oops you are sitting here, I said no no worries you can have the seat. He was like that so sweet I am really so sorry to bother you like this. Its sweet of you so my incliner was up so he gave me his hand meanwhile Krunal like a gentle man got up emptying the nxt seat and sat on the steps for me…I LOVE him for this. So it was kunal, Aditya and me sitting in a row. OMG can some1 just imagine what the feeling must have been. Meanwhile, Shruti came and was like no place so me and her shared the seat like illiterate people in village no option. So as I was sharing the seat I was leaning to my left site towards Aditya in short ;). My whole focus from the film went for a toss.
At times his hand touched my had or shoulder touched his shoulder. At times the whole theatre went quite with RK – Dp crying onscreen I could her Aditya breathing his breath and my heartbeat both were going parallel. He den removed his fone and I saw him bbming some1. Later he was whispering in Kunal’s ear.

A whole lot emotional drama was happening on screen, I was recollecting my recent break up and and feeling like crying and then hearing aditya’s breath geting mesmerized so many mixed emotions I was going through in those 65 minutes. Later, the film got over and Aditya said thank u I said no thank u dude u haven’t given a single pic to any fans. He said I will give you, you just wait until every1 goes i said allright. So the entire hall was empty only aditya me and krunal and his manager were der he said come, I went Krunal bhi ghus gaya so I was abt to fall coz we all 4 stood on the same step so he he was like look down take care and held me it was aa typical Aashiqui 2 poster moment hehehhe. Post then we got a pic and yaay we then left.

Well expect the unexpected. I never expected that I would get a pass to the YJHD premiere, not only that I as a normal girl next door and a FAN GAL woule never imagine to sit nxt to your celebrity crush and watch a film…
